Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website, used to make the site work and, where you agree, to understand how it's used.
2. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit amazing-translations.com, a banner asks you to choose: Reject non-essential, Manage preferences, or Accept all — presented with equal visual weight, with no box pre-ticked in your favour. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies loads until you make a choice. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the same preferences at any time.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
at_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | Necessary | 6 months |
| Cart & language preference (local storage) | Keeps your cart contents and chosen language (EN/ES) as you browse | Necessary | Until cleared by you or your browser |
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes visitors and sessions, to understand site usage | Analytics — loads only after you accept | Up to 2 years (_ga) / 24 hours (session identifiers) |
4. Necessary cookies
These keep the site working — your cart, your language choice and your consent record. They can't be switched off, because the site can't function without them, and they don't require your consent under the LSSI-CE.
5. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. This is entirely optional: the script does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you choose Accept all or enable Analytics in Manage preferences. Your IP address is anonymised before analysis.
6. Managing your choice
Reopen your preferences at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how parts of the site work.
