Legal notice (Aviso legal, per Article 10 LSSI-CE)
This website, amazing-translations.com, is operated by Amazing Translations, with its office at C. la Golondrina, 12, 11205 Algeciras, Cádiz, Spain. Contact: support@amazing-translations.com · +34 602 038 010. Activity: translation, sworn/certified translation and interpreting services.
1. Scope
These Terms govern your use of amazing-translations.com and your purchase of any translation, sworn/certified translation, interpreting, transcription or related service from Amazing Translations, whether ordered through our online checkout or arranged through a quote. By placing an order or requesting a quote, you accept these Terms.
2. The services we provide
We provide the translation, sworn/certified translation, interpreting, transcription, localisation and related services described on this site. Fixed-price items shown with an Add to Cart button are purchased directly through our checkout. Per-word and bespoke services are quoted individually before any work begins; a quote is not binding until you confirm it.
3. Prices
All prices on this site are shown in euros, before Spanish VAT (IVA), currently 21%, which is added at checkout or shown separately on your quote. Per-word, per-hour and per-audio-minute prices are shown as "from" figures — the final price for bespoke work is confirmed once we've seen your document or heard your requirements, and is not binding until you accept it. A rush surcharge of 40% applies where a 24-hour turnaround is selected. Prices for fixed-price catalogue items are as stated at the time of order.
4. Placing an order or requesting a quote
For catalogue items, your order is confirmed once you've completed checkout and received an order confirmation with a reference number. For bespoke work, a quote is confirmed once you accept the price and turnaround we send you; work begins only after that confirmation (and, for orders paid upfront, after payment is received).
5. Payment
Fixed-price orders are payable at checkout. Our default payment method is bank transfer / pay on invoice; while our online checkout is in demonstration mode, no card payment is processed or requested on this site — see our Cancellations & Refunds Policy for detail. Bespoke work is invoiced according to the terms confirmed in your quote.
6. Delivery
Standard turnaround is 24–48 business hours from confirmation of your order or quote; a 24-hour rush service is available for an additional charge. Translations are delivered as a signed PDF by email; a posted hard copy is available for Spain and the rest of the EU as a paid delivery option. Turnaround times are estimates given in good faith and may be affected by factors outside our control (such as delays at a third-party registry for apostille or legalisation coordination).
7. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for providing an accurate document, project description and receiving country/institution where relevant, so we can confirm the correct price and format. We're not responsible for a document being rejected because of a requirement you didn't tell us about that we couldn't reasonably have known.
8. Sworn/certified translations
Sworn translations are produced by a translator accredited by the Spanish Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores (MAEC) and carry that translator's seal and signature, in accordance with Spanish law governing sworn translation. We deliver the translation in the form Spanish institutions require; we cannot guarantee the decision of a specific receiving office, which remains at that office's discretion.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this website — its text, design, logo and graphics — belongs to Amazing Translations or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Ownership of a translation you commission from us transfers to you on full payment; ownership of your own source document always remains yours.
10. Confidentiality
We treat every document and project as confidential. A non-disclosure agreement is available on request, in particular for legal, medical, financial and corporate work.
11. Liability
We're liable for the accurate translation of the document or content you provide, within the terms of this policy and our Cancellations & Refunds Policy (in particular the 14-day free correction window). We're not liable for losses arising from your own errors in the source document, from a receiving institution's specific and undisclosed requirements, or from delays caused by third parties outside our control (such as postal services or official registries).
12. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation, refund and correction terms are set out in full in our Cancellations & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Algeciras, Cádiz, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rules that apply in your favour as a consumer under the TRLGDCU.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the last revision. Continuing to use the site or placing a new order after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
